Inviting all to GROW and SERVE together in God’s LOVE

Sunday Worship begins at 10am

802 Winter Street Wakefield, NE 68784 - Office: 402-287-2692 - E-Mail: church@wakecov.org - Pastor Jill Craig

We desire to be a church that shows God’s love through worship, service, and relationship. If you are looking for a place to belong, we would love for you to join us!

Our Sunday morning worship is similar to most worship services. There will be singing, community announcements, prayer, and preaching.

However, we think you will find these things are distinct to worship at the Wakefield Covenant.

  • We are inter-generational.

  • Children are welcome and included. While there is a nursery for children up to 36 months, it is not mandatory. Children four years old to fourth grade are welcome to attend Fusion (children’s church with age-appropriate teaching) following the Young Disciple Message. Quiet bags are available for children who stay with their parents during the service.

  • We sing traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs.

  • The Scriptures are the foundation of our preaching. Our first goal in our sermons is to teach the Bible. From there we strive to be engaging, point out real application, and share honestly about the challenges of faith.

If you want to come early, you are welcome to join our adult Sunday School class that meets during the school year. Most Sundays following worship, we have fellowship with treats. These times are fantastic opportunities to connect.

In cooperation with God’s Spirit, we hope to see:

An enviroment centered on God’s redeeming love where people of all ages, races, and walks of life feel they belong and can grow in their faith

A culture of continual growth in our dependence on God where we are honest about our imperfections and support one another through life’s ups and downs

Disciples engaging with God’s Word and living daily

A church that encourages people to get involved and equips them to serve with the abilities God has given them

Mission-minded servants sent out to make a difference in our community and our world with the compassion and generosity of Jesus Christ
