Covenant Recreation Opportunity of Wakefield Nebraska
C.R.O.W.N. is a safe and fun recreation program that serves the needs of students ages 4 - 13 in Wakefield and surrounding communities.
What makes C.R.O.W.N. different is that we include aspects of faith that seeks to ignite the Spirit of God in those we serve. We strive to bring others to Christ by being an example of Christ’s love to all who participate in our
program.C.R.O.W.N. is a non-licensed drop-in program that runs from 6 am-6 pm Monday- Friday from Late-May through Mid-August
Sample Schedule
7:00-8:00 Quiet activities/outside play
8:00-8:30 Breakfast/AM Snack.
9:00 – 9:30 Morning Meeting
9:30 -10:30 Program Room Activity (Stem, Art, Science, etc…)
10:30 – 11:00 Outdoor Playtime
11:00 – 11:45 Program Room Activity (Stem, Art, Science, etc…)
11:45 Wash-up for lunch
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch & outside play
- During part of this time we may walk to the pool or a park for an afternoon activity.3:30 - 4:00 Snack
4:00 - 4:45 Outside play
4:45 – 6:00 Slow down and relax in different program room activities
*This is what a daily schedule may look like, but not what it is limited to. We would ask family and staff to pay close attention to our Facebook page and signs posted in the building to tell you what is happening on a specific day.
Please Note:
C.R.O.W.N. is a DROP-IN PROGRAM, meaning that students may come and go as they please WITH parent and staff acknowledgement.
Pricing
5-day punch card for 5-10 year olds - $125
Tweens (11-13 Year olds)- $80
10-day punch card for ages 4-10 - $175
Tweens (11-13 Year olds) $100
1-day drop in for $35
Each day a student attends C.R.O.W.N., a staff member will punch their card. When their card runs out of punches, the family will need to purchase a new punch card. The card is valid only for the current summer.
Punch cards may be purchased by cash or check at the church office (Please make checks out to Covenant Church with C.R.O.W.N. in the memo) or at https://wakefield.breezechms.com/give/online
Lunch and Snack time info:
Morning and afternoon snack will be provided through C.R.O.W.N.
Students staying at C.R.O.W.N. over the noon hour will be required to bring their own sack lunch or can participate in the free School Lunch Program.
